CHS Spanish Club travels! Our amazing trips are great opportunities to learn about other cultures, make new friends, speak Spanish in real world settings, and have alot of fun!

We’re going to Costa Rica! We’ll leave as soon as school gets out in May and spend 9 days in country. This trip is a great way to give back since we will do various service projects. While there, we will stay with host families for 3 days in the highland village of Sitio de Mata. We will raft the incredible, exciting, beautiful Pacuare River and camp in the jungle. We’ll stay in a lodge in the cloud forest and hope to glimpse the quetzal bird. Hey, when was the last time you slept in a mountain cave? We’ll be totally off the grid for this adventure as we hike 3 miles to the top of a mountain, swim in a secluded lake, rappel down a 200’ waterfall and camp in the cave behind that waterfall. The last two days of the trip we’ll be beach bums, getting plenty of surf and sun!
